Sleep Bundles

Globally, about one-third of people experience sleep issues, and 10% to 20% of adults experience insomnia (Ohayon, 2011; Morin & Jarrin, 2022).

The good news?

I offer a holistic, research-backed 360° approach blending evidence-based therapy and somatics.

Research suggests that strengthening the mind-body link and practising mindfulness and relaxation techniques can…

😌 promote emotional stability
🙂 diminish rumination
😴 improve sleep quality
💤 reduce insomnia symptoms over time
(Winbush et al., 2007; Neuendorf et al., 2015).

Your tailored  Sleep Bundles will include:

  • Sleep hygiene coaching
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Yoga Nidra

Hypnotherapy: myths & reality

Hypnotherapy is considered a complementary therapy, just like counselling, which means it can be prescribed by other practitioners, such as your GP, to support different kinds of therapies, and it is supported by a growing body of research.

You can read more and see the Royal College of Psychiatrists, American Psychological Association, British Psychological Society and University College London Hospitals' stance on hypnotherapy.

For people who speak Italian, this link offers an exhaustive overview.

What is clinical hypnosis?

The general idea of hypnosis is that of mind control, and it couldn't be far from any kind of therapeutic application!

Hypnotherapy is a state of focused awareness in which you remain fully in charge. Its aim is to put you in charge of your brain, connect you to your goals, and help you remove the noise and barriers that prevent you from reaching them.

It can help you achieve a state of profound relaxation and heightened consciousness- a deep mindful concentration mode- in which guided visualisations and metaphors can facilitate you in establishing a true connection with your mind, reassigning your priorities, rewriting unwanted patterns, and asserting your own goals.

FAQ

What happens during a session?

Before the first session, you'll have a free 15-minute discovery call to determine if I’m the right practitioner for you. You'll receive a questionnaire to clarify practicalities and reflect on your goals.

In our first session, the Initial Consultation, we'll discuss your goals and review any shared information, and you'll be introduced to Progressive Muscle Relaxation.

In subsequent sessions, we’ll begin hypnotherapy: you'll be guided into a state of deep relaxation, focus, and attention. When you've achieved this, I will use metaphors and visualisations to help you reach your goals, repeating suggestions to gently embed them into your mind, then gradually bring you out of the relaxed state.

Many find this a lovely experience, feeling energised and refreshed afterwards.

Remember, you can always end the state whenever you like; it's your mind, and you're fully in control. I am here to support you as your trained facilitator.

What happens if I fall asleep?

Should you feel so relaxed that you fall asleep, it won’t be the end of the world – the suggestions meant to be accepted by your subconscious will still gently sink in, and anything that doesn’t truly align with your inner goals and purpose will be refused – just as if you were awake.

However, sleeping is not the objective of the session – so, if you know you’ve had a long day, you can let me know before we start the induction, and we can work out a suitable position to help you stay in a state of relaxed awareness.
