Mindfulness Training for Adults with ADHD
This 8-week programme is specially designed for the needs of adults with ADHD. Although the benefits of Mindfulness are great, the idea of a traditional, formal approach to its practices can feel daunting to many adults with ADHD. This programme is tailored to shift any fear and transform it into a gain!

In this training, you will benefit from:
- A tailored approach, formulated with the needs of adults with ADHD firmly in mind
- Information and practice integrated with research and evidence.
- Based on The Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for ADHD Program (Zylowska et al., 2008, Zylowska et al., 2009),
- Gaining awareness of what ADHD and Mindfulness are
- Reframing ADHD
- Gaining awareness of ADHD patterns as they appear and see how Mindful Awareness of Body Sensations, Thoughts, Emotions and Interactions can improve our life experience
- Short, informal exercises modified to fit the needs of ADHD adults, to help incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine.
- The opportunity to join as a group, with your colleagues, friends or family members.
- Being part of a budding, supportive community of fellow participants

Who This Program Is For
This program is ideal for you if:
- You are curious about mindfulness and are willing to commit to developing a practice.
- You have received a late diagnosis and are trying to make sense of what it means for you
- You are looking for more understanding of what ADHD is or a new lens to look at it
- You have previously tried meditation or mindfulness but did not find it effective.
- You want to understand the fundamentals of the practice and approach it from a scientific perspective.
- Your ADHD has an impact of the quality of your life and you are looking for a holistic way to reframe it
- You experience anxiety, stress, or difficulty sleeping.
- You wish to live more mindfully and feel more alive and present.

Schedule and How to Join
- Weekly workshops will be conducted via Teams, and recordings will be available in case you miss a session.
- You are welcome to join as a team, group or family (at least one carer, with kids aged 15 and over).
- You will be assigned homework and exercises to practice at home to help you build your own practice.
- Additionally, there is an optional accountability group where you can receive extra inspiration to keep you motivated and supported throughout the program.
- Sessions last for 60 minute
